click start - control pannel - program features - uninstall - select program and click remove

Reduce Acceleration :

Right click on desktop - select personalize- select Display  Settings - on Monitor( screen resolution and Advanced settings ) -in the right hand side side  bottom click Advanced settings.. -Trouble shoot - Hard ware Acceleration - reduce it..

Change Screen Resolution

Rightclick on desktop -select Personalize-  Display settings - on  the left hand side you can find Screen Resolution ..

change Screen Refresh Rate

 Right click on desktop - select personalize- select Display  Settings - on Monitor( screen resolution and Advanced settings ) - In the right hand side  bottom click Advanced settings.. - inside  that just below" Monitor Setting " - change refresh rate.

 

how to check Sounds and Audio devices is working properly

 Right click on desktop - selcte personalize - Select Sounds -  Select Play back and check its working fine  , select Recording  and check devices pluged in working fine - Select sounds and  check set windows sounds.

 

Renaming DRM folder in Windows Vista in all 32 Bit  and Show the hidden files and folders option in Windows:

 

1. Open Computer.

2. Click Organise, then Folder Options.

3. From the Folder Options window, click the View tab, and  select the Show hidden files and folders button.

4. Next, uncheck the Hide protected operating system files  (Recommended) box.

5. Click OK.

Find and Rename the DRM folder on your hard disk drive:

1. Close Rhapsody.

2. Open Computer.

3. Open the C: drive (Local Disk (C), usually the installation

   drive for Rhapsody).

4.Open ProgramData Folder

5.Open Microsoft Folder

6. Right-click the DRM folder, and then click Rename.

7. Type drm1, then press ENTER.

8. Close  all the windows and reopen Rhapsody.

 

Steps to find the Rhapsody & Rhapsody sdk folders in WindowsVista

1. Double click my computer Icon

2. Double click Local disc C drive

3. Double click Users folder

4. Double click real folder

5. Double click Appdata folder

6. Double click Roaming folder

7. Double click Real folder

8. Rhapsody & Rhapsody sdk

 

To delete the basi3260.dll file:

1. Open the  Computer icon on your desktop.

2. Open the C: drive (usually Local Disk (C:)).

3. Open the Program Files folder.

4. Open the Common Files folder.

5. Open the Real folder.

6. Open the Plugins folder.

7. Find the basi3260.dll file.

8. Right-click basi3260.dll and select Delete.

9. Close the window.

 

To delete the mcs.rma file:

1.Press Windows Key and "R" in key board you can find RUN  Window .

2.. Type  system32 and click OK.

3. Find the mcs.rma file.

4. Right-click mcs.rma and select Delete.

5. Close the window.

Java script error

Click Start- All programs - Accessories - Run
Click Run
Type regsvr32 jscript.dll
Click Ok - it will bring a message " jscript is Succeeded"
Click Ok.


To add a program to the DEP Exception List

1.) Open "Control Panel"
2.) Click on "System and Maintenance"
3.) Click on "System"
4.) On the left side click on "Advanced System

Settings"
you will be asked for permission to continue, click

continue
5.) Click on the Advanced tab and then on

"Settings" in the Performance area
6.) Click on the DEP (Data Execution Prevention)

tab
7.) Put a tick in the little circle next to "Turn

on DEP for all programs and services
except those I select" and click on the "ADD"

button and
browse for and click on the .exe file for realplay or
any other App then click "Open" now click "Apply"

then "OK"
and close all open windows and your done.

How to set Rhapsody as Default player

click start- select default or control pannel dafault - set program access and computer defaults - select custom - choose a default media plarer- uncheck all options and uncheck all enable access and defaults and select    use my current player - click ok
