How do I remove and redownload my game?

REMOVE:

1. Click start - goto control pannel - AddorRemove Programs and remove / uninstall the game - close it -goto my computer - localdisk c: - click My games - Delete the game
2. Hit back button on top - click My download files - delete game ( even demo and full version of the game that you need to delete )

REDOWNLOAD:

1. Open RealArcade -Click My Account ( on the Right hand side )
2.Type E-mail Address and passwrod - will get Account Summarry page - Click Redownload my games
3. Inside that you can find the link to redownload game ( click here to redownload )- click on it

4. Will get a new page with "Gamename" (Win 98,Win2000,WinNT,WinME ) click on the "Game name" - game will download

Err: Download Demo and install game
(WinVista or IE7: Run Active X control on top or enale the Axtive X control for RAC - Run it )


How do I uninstall and reinstall RealArcade?

To uninstall RealArcade Version 3:
  1. Open up My Computer
  2. Open up the C Drive
  3. Open up the Program Files folder
  4. Open up the RealArcade folder
  5. Open up the Installer folder
  6. Open up the uninstall folder
  7. Run fullclientrar.rguninst
  8. Run fullcatalograr.rguninst
  9. Run Appresourcerar.rguninst
  10. Run Realarcade.rguninst

If you need to revert back to RealArcade Version 1, you will need to do the following steps:

1. Clear the cookies from your Web Browser
2. Goto http://www.realarcade.com


Why do I get a Direct X error or script error when playing a game?


Check Display driver

Click Start- goto RUN - type "dxdiag" hit "ok"
Select "Display " option on top - select Driver option on the right hans side top corner - check Version ,date ( if older than 6.14.... tell to update if not up to date give basic support)

If DirectX Version is below 9.0c - guide the cust to update from www.microsoft.com/directx

For Xp :

1. Reset IE
Step 1: Delete temporary Internet files and cookies.

1. Go to the menu at the top right corner of the page, then click Tools > Internet Options - General tab, Click the Delete button.- Click the Delete Files button. Click Yes.- Click the Delete Cookies button - Click Yes - Click Close.

Step 2: Reset security levels.
1. Click the Security tab.- Click the Reset All Zones to Default Level button - click trusted sites -select Sites - inside that Type " https://*.realarcade.com " - uncheck Required server verification - click ADD and close

Step 3: To reset privacy levels
1. Click the Privacy tab.
2. Click the Default button and reduce BAR on th right hand side to the bottom says " Accept All cookies " - clikc ok

For Vista :

Close All Windows - Right click on RealArcade Icon - select properties inside that select compatability mode -Make a check mark on " Run as Administrator mode "- click Apply and OK
Open Real Arcade - u will get warning msg " Some unauthorized user is trying to access this web site do you need to allow/cancell " click " allow"
and try to work if not Works - do Reset IE

Step 4: Reset proxy and LAN settings.
1. ***IMPORTANT*** Make sure the customer makes a note of proxy and configuration settings in case they need to go back to them.
2. Click the Connections tab.
3. Click the LAN Settings button.
4. Check Automatically detect settings.
5. Uncheck Use automatic configuration script.
6. Uncheck Use a proxy server for your LAN.

2.Lower the sound card acceleration.

3. Update your sound card drivers.

Getting an 'RGP file invalid' error when you download your game?

1. Goto My Account - Type Email Address and password - signin

2. Click Redownload my games in Account Summary page

3.Right click on link and select "Save Targer as " and save it in Desktop and RUN from Desktop.

Missing the old games under My Games after Upgrading to RAC V3
RAC V 3- Issues After Migration

1, Make sure Rac V3 is installed if so guide to redownload games in Myaccount, click the link to download the fullversion,                        

 2, If Rac V3 is not installed , download any demo version (so that Rac V3 will be installed), then go to myaccount page and download the games.


Purchased games shows as demo

1, Make sure cust is logged in to same User profile where cust downloaded the games.. 
2, Guide the cust to unlock the game for My account page..
3, if you are unable to download the game for the Myaccount page, Do reset IE, check for firewall, wireless router

Missing the old games under My Games after Upgrading to RAC V3
1, If its Mozila Firefox, make Firefox as Default browser, Download Firefox plugin
2. Go to a particular games folder in c:/program file, open a game with it's   .exe file and make that particular game get listed under 'My Games' list ,
3.  Redownload Games  ,


Old games turning into Demo after Upgrading to Rac V3


1, See whether games under C:/MyGames, if so try to play form that location, if getting fullversion put the icon on the desktop                                                                                                                                             2, if possible clean uninstall all the games and then Reinstall Games from My Account page..


Unable to redownload games error "Arcade Installer-A network related error has occured. Please ensure your Computer is connected to the Internet and click yes to retry now or No to exit" SR #126267

1, Check whether the game is listed under Rac V3 

a, If its listed, do IE reset and try to download the game again   

b, If its not listed, See whether games under C:/MyGames, if so try to play form that location, if getting fullversion put the icon on the desktop    


c, If its not listed under Rac V3, not installed in computer, try to give one comp credit (Kb 7215)
